
How to add the widget on your home screen
If your phone is running version 4.0 (ICS) or later
- Open the Applications drawer
- Select the Widgets tab from the top (see image below)
- Find the widget, tap and hold for a couple of seconds, then drop it on your home screen
If your phone is running a version older than ICS
- Go to the home screen (tap the home button on your phone)
- Make sure that the home screen has enough space to hold a 4x2 widget
- Tap and hold on an empty space on your home screen until a popup menu appears
- Choose Widgets from the list or menu
- Locate the widget and select it
When installed, the widget will display the location setup screen. Make sure you have Internet connection and follow the instructions to setup your location.
The widget will display the current time, location and weather information, if you have Internet connection. To setup the clock, weather and location settings tap the minutes on the widget to go to the preferences screen. Make the necessary changes and tap the home or back button to return to the home screen. Any changes you have made will appear on the widget.
Widget hotspots The widget contains several hotspots, ie, points that respond when the user taps them. The following image shows the widget hotspots:

- Hotspot 1: Minutes/Settings hotspot
- Hotspot 2: Hour hotspot
- Hotspot 3: Weather icon hotspot
- Hotspot 4: Current temperature hotspot
- Hotspot 5: Date hotspot
- Hotspot 6: Settings hotspot
- Hotspot 7: Location change hotspot
- Open the application settings page or user defined application (by default, the settings page is displayed)
- Launch the default alarm application or a user defined application (by default the default alarm application is launched) - This default alarm application should work for most of the phones including HTC, Samsung, Nexus and Motorolla
- Display the detailed weather forecast screen
- Update current weather information (request new forecast from the Internet)
- Launch user defined application (select application in Advanced settings)
- Open the application settings page - this is useful in case the default minutes action is changed by the user
- Display the weather for the next location (in case you have entered more than one locations)
Note about the alarm application!
If the hour hotspot (hotspot #2) does not work on your phone, (i.e., tapping it does not launch your the alarm application) you can select the alarm application (or any other application you want to launch when the hour is clicked) by doing the following:
- Tap the minutes (hotspot #1) to go to the Preferences screen
- Tap 'Advanced settings'
- Uncheck the 'Default hour action' checkbox
- Tap the 'Select hour click action' and wait for the applications to load (this can take some time, depending on how many applications you have installed on your phone)
- When the applications list appears, locate the application you want to launch and tap it
- Press the Home button to return to your home screen
Note about task killers
If you have a task killer application installed on your device, exclude the widget from its auto-kill list,
otherwise the widget will stop working. Rating the widget If you like the widget you can leave a rating and comment by doing the following:
- Open the Android market
- Tap on My Apps and locate the Sense V2 Flip Clock & Weather application
- Tap the stars located under the 'My review' heading
- Select your rating
- Once you have rated the application you will have the option to leave a comment
