How to add the widget on your home screen
If your phone is running version 4.0 (ICS) or later
- Open the Applications drawer
- Select the Widgets tab from the top (see image below)
- Find the widget, tap and hold for a couple of seconds, then drop it on your home screen
If your phone is running a version older than ICS
- Go to the home screen (tap the home button on your phone)
- Make sure that the home screen has enough space to hold a 4x2 widget
- Tap and hold on an empty space on your home screen until a popup menu appears
- Choose Widgets from the list or menu
- Locate the widget and select it
When added to the home screen, the widget will display the Location setup page. The location setup process will try to automatically detect your location. If it does not, or the detected location is not the desired one, enter your location manually, search for it and select the correct location from the list. Once your location is correct, press the back button and choose the basic settings from the page displayed (temperature degrees, time format, etc). Press the back button again and you will see the weather forecast activity.

- Hotspot 5: Weather icon - Display the detailed weather forecast screen
- Hotspot 6: Weekday - Launch weekday application (select which application to launch in Advanced settings)
- Hotspot 7: Month/day - Launch month application (select which application to launch in Advanced settings)
