Domain whitelist

You can add domains to the AdClear whitelist list for your phone entering them on this page. Type in urls which you want bypassed, e.g. www.google.com. These urls can refer either to sites you visit while browsing (AdClear will then not block ads on this site), or sites which may deliver ads which you don’t want AdClear to block.

Whitelisting / bypassing apps

If an app is “whitelisted”, AdClear will “bypass”, or not filter the traffic to block ads for that app. AdClear maintains a permanent bypass list for apps that don’t function properly when filtered for ads. You can see this list in Settings > Manage ad blocking > Manage apps and selecting Bypassed from the pull down menu at the top of that page.

You can bypass an app from ad blocking by going to Settings > Manage ad blocking > Manage apps, and moving the slider to the OFF position for the apps that you want AdClear to bypass.

As part of our privacy policy, AdClear tries to permanently whitelist / bypass all apps and urls which involve user’s sensitive financial or medical information (most of these sites don’t display ads in any case). If there are apps in your country which we are not yet bypassing, you can go to Settings > Manage ad blocking > Manage apps to turn these apps off, or add specific urls to the Domain whitelist. Please also use the Send Feedback option to tell us about such apps or sites, and we will add them to our permanent bypass list.
